Chat Feature - Zoom Telehealth
As the meeting host, you are able to send text-based chat messages back-and-forth with the people in your meeting room.
You can send generic messages to everybody waiting in the Waiting Room, but they are to anyone who is waiting and cannot be specifically directed to one person. People in the waiting room also cannot respond back to you via text chat. Please be aware of this and do not send any sensitive information into the waiting room.
To open the chat feature, click the Chat icon on the bottom toolbar. It will open a chat window in the right-hand side panel.
Choose who you would like to send the message to. You will have the options of everyone in the meeting room, everyone in the waiting room (if there is anybody in the waiting room), and private messages with individuals in the meeting room with you.
Type your message and hit enter to send.
NOTE: These options will change depending on the moment (ie: if there is nobody in the waiting room, you won’t have the ability to send a message to the waiting room.)
