YOUR SOM ACCOUNT
Your SOM account is used for logging into computers in UNLV Health properties, accessing network drives (H:/, G:/, U:/), and connecting personal devices to the UNLVMED BYOD Wi-Fi network.
CHANGE YOUR PASSWORD
Log into a UNLV Health computer
Press CTRL+ALT+DEL
Choose Change a password.
PASSWORD CRITERIA
At least 8 characters
Contain 3 character types:
UPPER_CASE letters (A-Z)
Lowercase letters (a-z)
Numbers (0-9)
Symbols (ie: ! @ $ % &)
ACCOUNT LOCKED?
FORGOT YOUR PASSWORD?
CALL THE SOM HELP DESK.

For security reasons, passwords cannot be reset via email.
When your password is changed, forget UNLVMED BYOD on your mobile device and reconnect with your new password to avoid being locked out of your account.
