This guide is designed to provide you with the information and tools you need to successfully attend a virtual event.
Tips
In advance of your event, always do a test with whatever platform the event will be hosted on, especially if you are hosting or presenting. Sometimes applications need to be updated or other issues need to be corrected in order for you to launch and participate in your meeting. If you’re using an older device, it may not be capable of launching specific platforms.
Always keep your microphone muted when you are not speaking to eliminate echoes and disruptive noise during the meeting.
It’s recommended that you use headphones when participating in a virtual event for the best experience and sound quality.
