Setting up Okta Verify

Beginning August 13, 2024, all SOM faculty and staff will be required to use Okta Verify (or Google Authenticator) for multifactor authentication.

The SMS text message option will be disabled due to security concerns.

The Okta Verify app does not track you or take any data from your device.

Your experience may differ slightly from the steps outlined below as our systems are continuously being improved. The main process is the same.

If you have any questions or run into any issues, please contact the SOM Help Desk for assistance.
