Google Meet for iPad - Google Meet

Download the App

Joining an interactive video meeting is easier than ever with Google Meet for iOS. Find Google Meet in the Apple app store and download it.

Sharing Your Screen

When presenting on your iPad, you will show your entire screen, including notifications (similar to iOS Screen Recording feature). Turn on Do Not Disturb mode on your iPad before presenting.

  1. Tap the three dots in the top right corner of your screen.

  2. Tap Present Screen.

  3. Tap Start Broadcast. It will begin a countdown then begin sharing.

Jamboard

Share your screen and open the Jamboard app. Navigating away from Meet app will not end your presenting privilege or remove you from the Meet.

Multitasking

Navigating away from Meet app on your iPad or the Meet window on your computer will not remove you from the meeting.

Known Issues

Leaving and rejoining the meeting is the first thing to try when encountering an issue with Google Meet. If your Meet window freezes after giving up presenting privileges, or if other users aren’t able to see your video despite your camera being turned on, leave the meeting and join again.
