Camera not working - Google Meet

Some models of HP Zbook may not work by default with Google Meet, resulting in a “Meet can’t use your camera” error message.

The error you will see in Google Meet is that the camera can not be started because another application is currently using the camera.

To resolve, adjust the setting in Chrome that allows graphics acceleration when available.

In Google Chrome, click the three dots in the top-right corner for more options.

Choose Settings

Choose System from the left sidebar

Toggle the Use graphics acceleration when available option so it is disabled (Grey)

Click Relaunch

Retry your camera in Google Meet
