Adding Hyperlinks - WebCampus

You may need to turn text or images into clickable hyperlinks to direct students to other pages. You can link internal course content or external links that direct to websites outside of Canvas.
Text
| 1 | Highlight the text you want to hyperlink. |
| 2 | Click the Hyperlink button on the text toolbar and choose:

External Links
| 1 | Enter the URL of the page you are linking to in the Link box.

| 2 | Click Done when finished. | |
Course Links
| 1 | A sidebar will appear on the right side of your screen that will allow you to navigate to the Canvas page you’d like to link. You can also search for the page using the search function at the top of the sidebar. | |
| 2 | Click on the page title to add the hyperlink to the selected text. |
Images
| 1 | Click on the image you want to hyperlink. |
| 2 | Click the Hyperlink button on the text toolbar and choose:

External Links

Editing Hyperlinks

| 1 | Select the hyperlinked text. | |
| 2 | Choose Link Options from the floating menu. | |
| 3 | On the right sidebar, edit the link and text as needed and click Done. |

| 1 | Select the hyperlinked image. | |
| 2 | Choose Link Options from the floating menu. | |
| 3 | On the right sidebar, edit the link as needed and click Done. |
Removing Hyperlinks
Text
| 1 | Select the hyperlinked text. | |
| 2 | Choose Remove Link from the floating menu. |
Image
| 1 | Select the hyperlinked image. | |
| 2 | Choose Remove Link from the floating menu. |
