Move files - Google Drive
You are only able to move your own files. It may not be possible to move shared files if you do not have full ownership over them. Talk to your instructor/adviser/supervisor if you are not sure.
There are two methods for moving items within Google Drive:
Drag & Drop
Browse
Drag & Drop
1 | Click on the file/folder that you want to move. | |
2 | Drag it into the folder you want to move it to. |
Browse
1 | Right-click on the file/folder that you want to move. | |
2 | Click Move to. | |
3 | Use the arrows in the top left corner to move through your drives to find the correct location. | |
4 | Click Move Here when finished. |
