Kirk Kerkorian School of Medicine at UNLV & UNLV Health Calendar - Marketing & Communications Dept.
To improve and facilitate our communications this year, we’d like to announce the implementation of a Kirk Kerkorian School of Medicine at UNLV and UNLV Health Google Calendar. All employees can easily subscribe to it and view/hide it as desired. Departments will also be able to submit the events they are trying to promote to both school and UNLV Health employees.
How To Subscribe to the Calendar
On the bottom-right corner of the screen, click on the plus (+) sign icon, next to “Google Calendar”
A pop-up window will appear verifying that you want to add the calendar.
Select “Add”
Now, any time you are viewing your Google calendar, you can view or hide the “School of Medicine and UNLV Health Events” calendar under “Other Calendars,” which appears on the left side of the screen.
How to Submit Events to the Calendar
Create the event your department wants to promote to the school and UNLV Health as you typically would within your Google calendar.
Be sure to include a description of the event and any registration/attendee requirements.
Add communications@medicine.unlv.edu to the invitation.
If approved, the marketing and communications team will add it to the calendar, and submit it to the university’s and Kirk Kerkorian School of Medicine at UNLV’s web calendar.

Description
The White Coat Ceremony celebrates the first-year medical students’ welcome into the profession of medicine. Students receive their first white coat while family and friends learn about the significance of the white coat in medicine.

Admission Information
Open to invited guests only.
Parking is free in the Cottage Grove Garage, adjacent to Artemus Ham Hall. A light reception will immediately follow the ceremony. Masking will be required for all attendees, following state of Nevada masking mandates.
