Savance In & Out Board

This guide is for employees at UNLV Health Mojave Counseling (4000 E. Charleston).

The Savance In & Out Board provides a simple way to log your availability and working location to avoid potential confusion and keep your colleagues informed.

The basic function of the In & Out Board is changing your Status. The status options are listed below.

Status Name

Meaning

Status Name

Meaning

In

You are in the office, on-site, working.

Remote (Home)

You are working at a remote location, such as your home.

In Community

You are in the community with a client, doing tasks on behalf of or with the client.

If you are in court, add this in the comments.

In Med Clinic East

(Case Managers) You are on-site at Med Clinic East.

In Med Clinic West

(Case Managers) You are on-site at Med Clinic West.

Out

You are not working. ie. end of shift

Lunch

You are on your lunch break.

PTO

This covers all PTO days - sick/vacation/etc. Add coverage notes in the comments.


Access the system

  1. Navigate to https://cloud.savanceworkplace.com/

    1. A shortcut to this site has been added to your computer’s desktop for easy access.

    2. If you do not see the shortcut, please reboot your computer while you are on-site and connected to the UNLVMed network.

  2. Log into the system

    1. Username: your full @unlv.edu email address

    2. Password: for your first login, use the default password provided to you by SOM IT. You can change this in your settings after logging in. Click My Info & Settings (top-right corner) and choose Password.


How to change your status

Quick Status Update

Use the Status menu in the top-left corner of the website to quickly select your status.

 

 

 

 

 

 

Detailed Status Update

If more details are needed, click Status on the top toolbar and open the full Update Status menu.

Change your status

Add return dates/times

Add comments if necessary (in court, coverage for PTO, etc)

Click OK


Customize your dashboard

Add additional fields/columns (ex. phone number)

  • Right-click anywhere on the top toolbar (gray toolbar with category titles)

  • Select the columns you’d like to add from the list on the right.

  • Remove columns from the list on the left to hide them from your dashboard.

  • Use the ⬍ icons in the left column to reorder your columns.

You can also reorder and resize the columns by dragging and dropping on the dashboard. (see gif)

Sort columns

Similarly to Google Sheets and Microsoft Excel, you can sort each column A-Z or Z-A. Simply click on the title of any column to sort its contents. (see gif)

Choose which buttons to view or hide on your toolbar.

Log On & Log Off

Set rules to automatically update your status when you log on or off of the website.
