Boostlingo for remote interpretation

Through the Boostlingo application, Language Link is offering on-demand interpretation services to UNLV Health clinics.

How to conduct an on-demand session

Boostlingo is available to UNLV Health employees via UNLV Health iPads. It can also be accessed via the web on a computer.

  1. On the iPad, open the Boostlingo app. Make sure you are in the On Demand tab (this is the default tab that loads)

  2. Tap the video camera icon.

  3. Choose the language you need interpreted.

  4. Choose Medical (non-certified)

  5. Press Call.

  • Once the interpreter is connected, you will be able to see each others’ video.

  • You have the ability to mute your audio or activate privacy mode which will hide your video.

  • When the session is complete, click on End Call to disconnect.

How to schedule a session

Schedule a session with an interpreter in advance.

  1. Log into languagelink.interpretmanager.com on a computer

  2. Click Create New Appointment.

  3. Enter the necessary appointment information.

    1. All fields marked with a red asterisk are required.

    2. All other fields are optional.

    3. For Clinic Number, please choose the corresponding Clinic Name / Number:

  4. Click Save when finished. You will receive an email confirmation.

  5. The scheduled appointment will become available to launch from the iPad in the Scheduled tab.


Conduct a scheduled session

  1. Open the Boostlingo app.

  2. Open the Scheduled tab.

  3. Click Join on the appropriate appointment.

Edit a scheduled session

  1. Locate the appointment on the calendar.

  2. Select Open and Edit to edit the appointment.

  3. Click Update once your changes are made.

Cancel a scheduled session

  1. Click the three dots to the right of the edit button

  2. Select Cancel. You will receive an email confirmation.
