Google Meet

Google Meet is automatically available with your UNLVMail Google account credentials. Google Meet easily integrates with Google Calendar and is ideal for quick meetings within the organization, though external participants are also able to join. Share your screen, chat with participants, and have quick and effective discussions with your colleagues.

Webex Meeting

We recommend a standard Webex Meeting for groups that are sharing content and all having a conversation together. Webex Meetings have a breakout room option.

Webex Event

Webex Events are best for larger virtual events that involve a host or group of panelists presenting information or discussing together, but the average participant is just a viewer. You can enable and configure chat and Q&A features as you would like depending on your event, but your regular participants are typically not using cameras and microphones in this type of event.

Webex Training

Webex Training makes your online training programs more effective. You can deliver live, interactive sessions to students anywhere, and keep them engaged with hands-on training, tests, and breakout sessions to enhance their learning.

Webex Personal Room

The Personal Room works similarly to a regular meeting, but is unique in a few ways. The link never changes, and meetings using the personal room do not need to be scheduled in advance. This is ideal for meetings like office hours, where students know that you will be in your personal room during a specific time frame and they can join freely. You can lock your personal room mid-meeting which enables a waiting room feature, allowing you to bring people in individually.

Zoom Meeting

Zoom meetings provide breakout rooms, polling, and chat features for groups. Settings can be configured depending on how interactive you want your meeting to be.
