Clearing Missed Call Counts and Recent Calls Lists

There are two methods for clearing missed call counts and recent calls on the Cisco 8851 phones.

  1. Delete all call history (all lines/extensions on phone)

  2. Delete missed call counts/recents per line

 

Method 1 - Delete all call history (all lines/extensions on phone)

Press the Applications (Gear) button on the phone.

Choose Option 2 for Recents.

Press the Option soft key on the bottom left.

Press Select with Delete all highlighted.

Press OK when confirmation message appears


Method 2 - Delete missed call counts/recents per line

Use the navigation ring to highlight which line or extension you would like to work with.

Press the Applications (Gear) button on the phone

Choose Option 2 for Recents

Select the option you wish to clear (All Calls, Missed Calls, etc.)

Press the Option soft key on the bottom left.

Highlight the option you would like.

Delete Entry (single highlighted item in the list) or

Delete List

Press Select and OK to confirm your choice
