Personal voicemail and Queue voicemail are separated by line. Please note the following differences.
Personal voicemail indicators will appear next to the phone number and extension number at the upper left side of the screen.
You will use your own voicemail PIN to retrieve these.
Queue voicemail indicators will appear next to the queue name (example: Referral VM), and are usually on the right side of the phone screen.
There may be more than one, depending on how many queues the phone is a part of.
The voicemail PIN is shared by everyone that has access to the specific queue. Do not change a queue voicemail PIN without first consulting the clinic Administrator or Supervisor.
Voicemail indicators will appear on the phone when a voicemail is left on any line that the phone has programmed on it. When a voicemail is left on a specific phone line, the following indicator will appear on screen and flash.
There is also a voicemail indicator on the handset that will show as a solid red light when any line on the phone has a voicemail.
There are two methods for retrieving voicemail messages.
Method 1
Checking voicemail on the physical phone itself.
You will see the red “cassette tape” indicator flashing next to the line that received a voicemail. To retrieve the voicemail, press the green line button to the left, or right, of the screen where this indicator is showing.
Then press the voicemail button on the phone.
You will be prompted to enter the voicemail PIN and can retrieve messages by following the audible prompts and the screen will show you on an outgoing call.
Method 2
Calling into the voicemail system from another phone at the location, or a phone outside of the location.
This method requires you to know the full 10 digit phone number of the voicemail box.
Call 702-445-6245 to enter into the Cox Voicemail System.
When prompted, enter the 10 digit phone number of the voicemail box, followed by the # symbol.
After entering the voicemail PIN, you can then check messages following the audible prompts.
