Through the Boostlingo InterpVault application, Language Link is offering offers on-demand interpretation services to UNLV Health clinics.

How to conduct an on-demand session

Boostlingo is available to UNLV Health employees via UNLV Health iPads.

  1. On the iPad, open the Boostlingo app. Make sure you are in the On Demand tab (this is the default tab that loads)

  2. Tap the video camera icon.

  3. Choose the language you need interpreted.

  4. Choose Medical (non-certified)

  5. Press Call.

  • Once the interpreter is connected, you will be able to see each others’ video.

  • You have the ability to mute your audio or activate privacy mode which will hide your video.

  • When the session is complete, click on End Call to disconnect.

Schedule a session with an interpreter in advance.

  • Log into languagelink.interpretmanager.com on a computer

  • Click Create New Appointment.

    4. Enter the necessary appointment information.

      1. All fields marked with a red asterisk are required

      2. All other fields are optional

      3. For Clinic Intake, choose the corresponding Clinic Name / Number

    1. Choose Next

    2. Click Save when finished. You will receive an email confirmation.

    The scheduled appointment will become available to launch from the website or the iPad.

    2. Click Join Now on the appropriate session

      1. The call will ring for 60 seconds or until an interpreter connects to the call.

      2. After 60 seconds, a message will appear to indicate that an interpreter is not available and the system will automatically end the call.

  • Open the Boostlingo app.

  • Open the Scheduled tab.

    Do not refresh or reload the screen during the call.

    This will disconnect the call.

    Edit a scheduled session

    1. Locate the appointment on the calendar.

    2. Select Open and Edit to edit the appointment.

    3. Click Update once your changes are made.

  • Click the three dots to the right of the edit button

  • Select Cancel. You will receive an email confirmation

    Edit or cancel a scheduled session

    2. Tap the kebab menu in the top-right.

    3. At the bottom of the screen, choose Edit or Cancel Job.
