Logging In

Warning

First-time users, MUST log into the Cox Business Portal and change your password before logging into the Webex application.

The account will lock if you try logging into the Webex app without changing your password first.

When you open the app, tap Get Started on the welcome screen.

Enter your Cox email address and click Next.

Please note that your email address for your phone account is not your UNLV email address.

The Cox Business portal will load. Enter your password and click Submit.

Receiving Calls

  1. When you receive an incoming call,

  1. your phone will ring like a regular phone call.

    1. Under the number/name of the caller, you will see the Webex icon and Webex Audio.

  2. You can accept, decline, or silence the call as you would for a regular phone call.

Making Calls

There are three ways to start a phone call from the mobile application.

Dial Pad

  1. Choose the Calling icon on the bottom toolbar.

  2. Press the Phone + button in the bottom-right corner.

  3. Dial the number.

  4. Press the Audio icon.

Call History

  2. Use Recents and Missed tabs to filter call history.

  3. Tap on the name/number to initiate the call.

Dial the number or choose the contact that you want to add to the call and tap the phone icon.

Voicemail

Go to the Calling tab on the bottom toolbar.

Choose the Voicemail tab.

Choose Call Voicemail. It will immediately start calling your voicemail, and the audio prompts will walk you through the menus.

Follow the prompts to access more voicemail features, such as creating a personalized greeting, sending a message, and more.

You need a PIN to access these features. If you don’t know your PIN, contact the KSOM Help Desk.

Signing Out

You will need to sign out at the end of the workday or you will continue to receive calls.
