UNLV’s Remote Computer Labs allow students to connect to a remote desktop to access 40+ software titles from their own device. This is accessible by students only and requires the use of your ACE credentials.

To access the Remote Computer Lab, you will need to configure your device. (PC & Mac)

  1. Download the VMWare Horizon Client.

  2. Open the VMWare Horizon Client on your computer.

  3. Type workspaces.unlv.edu for the connection server name. Select Connect.

  4. Use your ACE username and password to log into RebelApps.

You can access the Remote Computer Lab on Windows, Mac, Linux, ChromeOS, iOS, and Android devices. The installation steps will vary slightly depending on what type of device you are using. For full installation instructions for each operating system, visit OIT’s RebelApps page.

The Remote Computer Lab environment is different than visiting a physical computer lab.

  • Audio is not available

  • You must have a reliable internet connection

  • You will begin a new session each time you access the lab

  • Save your work frequently

  • Save to Y: drive (UNLV network) or Z: drive (your computer)

  • Print PDF only option
