You may be working on course content in Canvas and want to see it from a student’s perspective to ensure everything is in order. Canvas has a “Student View” feature that lets you seamlessly switch between a student’s perspective and your own instructor perspective.
Starting Student View
When viewing content in your course, click Student View at the top to view the content as a student would.
Leaving Student View
To leave student view, click Leave Student View in the bottom-right corner.
Unpublished Content
If you are trying to preview content that is not yet published, you will see this screen.
