Decrypt your USB drive with Bitlocker

If you encrypted your USB drive, follow these steps to decrypt.
At this time, decryption will only allow your drive to be in read-only mode.
Changes cannot be made to any content on the drive.
Please contact the SOM Help Desk for assistance with this process.
In the Windows search bar in the bottom left of your screen, type Manage Bitlocker and choose it from the menu.
On the Bitlocker management screen, click the arrow to the right of Bitlocker To Go to expand the menu.
Select Turn off Bitlocker and it will decrypt the drive.
