These instructions are for the individuals who have been designated as approvers for any reservable space in the Medical Education Building.

Enabling approval notifications for room resources in Google Calendar

If you want to be notified via email when a conference room has been reserved or when changes occur to the room, do the following:

Click the vertical ellipses next to the desired calendar and select Settings and sharing.

In the Other notifications section, change the following from None to Email:

  • New events

  • Changed event

  • Canceled events

When someone tries to book an event for the room, you will receive an email invitation. The invitation is for the room to join the event, and not for your personal account. Click Yes to accept the invitation on behalf of the room.
