SOM IT provides limited assistance with connecting employee or student personal devices to SOM IT services.

What we can help with

  • Connecting to our BYOD Wi-Fi networks

  • VPN access

  • Limited help with use

  • UNLV Software

What we can’t help with

  • Hardware issues

  • Non-UNLV software

SOM IT cannot assist with hardware issues with your personal devices.

If standard installation or configuration does not work, we may ask you to contact your device’s vendor/support or third party contractors to troubleshoot the issue.
