SOM VPN - Requesting access
Requests for remote access (VPN) require Human Resources approval.
These requests can be submitted in 2 ways.
Requesting Access
Contact the appropriate Human Resources department for your organization:
UNLV Health - hr@medicine.unlv.edu
UNLV SOM - hr.som@medicine.unlv.edu
Contact the SOM Help Desk and a request will be sent to the appropriate human resources department on your behalf.
When contacting Human Resources or SOM IT, please include the reason for the request and all relevant contact information.
Personal Computers
If you are using your personal computer, SOM IT can provide limited support but cannot make changes, visit your location, or repair hardware.
