Labels are a simple and efficient way to keep your email inbox organized. Create labels to group specific emails together and keep your inbox free of clutter.
Create and Manage Labels
1 | On the left sidebar of your inbox, expand the menu and click Manage Labels. | |
2 | Go to the Labels section at the bottom of the page. Here you can choose to create a new label, edit or remove existing labels, and choose to show or hide the labels in your inbox. | |
3 | Click Create new label. | |
4 | Give the label a name. If you’d like to nest this label under an existing label, check the Nest label under box and choose the appropriate parent label from the dropdown menu. |
Move emails to specific labels
Open the email and click the Move to button above the message. Choose the appropriate label from the list. | |

You can also move single or multiple emails from your inbox by selecting the messages and choosing either the Move to or Label option as explained above. |
