All School of Medicine employees will transition from using UNLV Telecom managed phones to using SOM IT managed Cox phones.
You will have a physical phone on your desk, and also have the ability to use “soft phones,” or an app (Webex) on your computer or mobile device to take calls on your office number.

Connect your devices to Wi-Fi
You will use your UNLVMed credentials to connect your devices to the Wi-Fi.
You must reconnect your devices each time you change your password or have the Help Desk reset your password.
Please do this as soon as possible after changing your password to avoid getting locked out of your account.
eFax
eFax is only accessible through the UNLV network. You must connect via VPN if off-site.
Conference Rooms
All conference rooms are to be managed using Google Calendar’s ‘Room’ function. Each department with conference or hoteling space will be responsible for managing their spaces.
