School of Medicine and UNLV Medicine are limited to HP devices.
Apple devices can be purchased by SOM, but are not available for UNLV Medicine clinic locations.
Having similar devices ensures that all equipment is compatible.
IT will gladly assist with facilitating your computer orders. To get this assistance, submit your orders through our Shared Services Business Operations form.
The SOM IT Department will:
Review all submitted orders
We will supply from our inventory (if the requested items are available), and ensure that warranties and other requirements are accounted for.
Coordinate receiving and tagging of the assets
Installation of software and configuration of device(s).
Deliver and install the computer in the appropriate location
