The UNLVMED BYOD (Bring Your Own Device) wireless network is provided for you to connect your personal devices. It’s offered at all UNLV Health locations and provides you with internet access only. The use of the regular UNLVMED wireless network is restricted to UNLV Health devices.

Identity: UNLVMED Username
Password: UNLVMED Password
If prompted, skip field “Anonymous Identity.”

Your SOM account (previously referred to as UNLVMed account) is used for BYOD Wi-Fi access. This username is (typically) firstname.lastname and is used to log into your work computer.

NOTE: If your SOM account password changes, whether you change it on your own or have it reset by the SOM Help Desk, you must update the credentials on any devices previously connected to the BYOD Wi-Fi. Failing to do so will result in your account being locked due to the device providing a now incorrect password.
