Purchase Process
Clinic administrator contacts must contact Christie Putman (christie.putman@unlv.edu) with the following information:
Name of department
Name of doctor who wishes to utilize the program
Clinic administrator will need must to agree to pay for Clinically Speaking ($100 monthly fee) and
Clinic administrator must purchase a dictation microphone , - Nuance Dictaphone PowerMic II
Christie will manage the purchase of the Clinically Speaking software and provide the account information to the clinic administrator/doctor.
Clinic administrator will must submit a ticket to the SOM Help Desk to have the application installed on the specified computer.

❌ M-Modal Fluency Direct
M-Modal Fluency Direct is UMC’s dictation software.
M-Modal Fluency Direct is not reliable in UNLV Health clinic locations (or outside of UMC in general).
M-Modal Fluency Direct is not supported by SOM IT or UNLV Health EHR.
