Meeting Moderators

As a meeting moderator, you can create polls for participants to vote on.

After the meeting, the moderator is automatically emailed a report of the poll results. The report includes the names and answers of the participants.

In a meeting, at the bottom right, click Activities > the Activities icon.

Choose Polls.

Click Start a poll.

Enter a question and add options for the poll.

A minimum of two options is required. Click + Add an option to add more than two.

Choose one:

  • Post your poll immediately: click Launch

  • Save your poll to launch it later: click Save

Tip 💡: Polls you save remain listed under Polls for the duration of the video call. After the call ends, all polls are permanently deleted.

Meeting moderators are emailed a polling report at the end of the meeting.

In a meeting, at the bottom right, click the Activities > Pollsicon.

Optional: To let participants see a poll’s results, next to “Show everyone the results,” click the switch.

Optional: To close a poll and not allow responses, click End the poll.

Participants can still view the poll.

To permanently delete a poll from your list of polls, click Delete.

No one can view deleted polls.

Meeting Participants

As a meeting participant, you can submit a response for a poll.

You’ll get a notification in the meeting when the moderator starts a poll. Be sure to submit your response before the poll or meeting ends.

  1. In the meeting, on the bottom right, click Activities > Polls.

  2. In the poll, select your response > and click Vote.

    1. Tip (lightbulb): You cannot change your response after you click Vote.
